Convicted California Priest not part of NAOCC

[SAN BERNADINO, CA] A pastor claiming to be part of the "Old Catholic Church" is not a member of the North American Old Catholic Church (NAOCC).

Anthony Garduno, 51, pleaded guilty to selling methamphetamine and keeping a stolen pisol. He was sentenced to two years in a California state prison.

Garduno has never been associated with the NAOCC. Officially licensed clergy of the NAOCC are always screened for criminal backgrounds before ordination. In some cases, a clergy's bishop may also require additional checks such as a random drug screening.
